Spierings Cancer Foundation

Spierings Cancer Foundation provides financial support to local families affected by cancer, enhances medical care for cancer patients in the Fox Cities and funds cancer research in Wisconsin. Berkers Family Dentistry is passionate about this foundation because cancer has been an issue for the families of many of our staff members. We also love this organization because donations stay local to the community and state-wide research. 

Center for Suicide Awareness

The Center for Suicide Awareness is a Kaukauna-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preventing suicide through proactive education, training, emotional support, collaboration, and intervention. One of the programs they provide includes HOPELINE, which brings free emotional support to those in need by texting HOPELINE to 741741. They are also proactive in the fight against veteran suicides with their “I Challenge You to 22” initiative. Suicide is a growing problem for all ages and backgrounds of people in our society. We support this organization because they not only work with anyone who needs assistance, but they also have programs focused on younger people who are struggling, as well as veterans and law enforcement personnel throughout the area. 

Community Clothes Closet

Community Clothes Closet provides free clothing to children, women, and men in need who are referred through any human service organization, school or church. This is so important to those that may have found themselves in a tough spot in life and a little help to get back some confidence for acing that next job interview, projecting a healthy-self image or staying safe in our toasty Wisconsin summers and frigid Wisconsin winters. We’re proud to support Community Clothes Closet because we know there is a whole lot of need in the community for this service and we know that our donations to this organization are used very wisely to help people locally. 

Tri-County Dental

Tri-County Dental is a volunteer-based dental clinic whose mission is to provide quality oral health care in a caring and compassionate manner. They serve individuals in Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago counties whose access to dental health care is limited due to low income or receiving Medicaid benefits. This organization is very near and dear to our hearts because we know how important having healthy teeth is to having an overall healthy and happy life. We also know there are many people who struggle with access to affordable dental care. Not only do we support this organization through our Smile-it-Forward program, but Drs. Berker and Moeller both volunteer our time there on a monthly basis to help those who may need help with access to and information about good dental health care.
